Food and Communication is a joint editorial project of the Department of Climate Action, Food and Rural Agenda (DACC) of the Government of Catalonia and the Scientific Communication Observatory of Pompeu Fabra University (OCC-UPF). This series of publications in digital format aims to provide a wide audience with relevant information and expert opinions on topics of social debate related to food and communication. Communicating food innovation, the fourth issue of the Food and Communication collection, addresses the challenges and opportunities represented by the communication of food innovation to society, both from a cultural and social point of view and from the perspective of food companies, research and development centers, startups and the gastronomy sector. The publication includes the presentations of a group of experts in these fields and the subsequent debate on this topic held at the Pompeu Fabra University on November 4, 2021
